Steel and glass rain down around me, a silent cascade of broken dreams. Twisted metal limbs claw at the sky, monuments to a shattered promise I barely remember. Dust fills the air, thick with the ghosts of progress and forgotten memories. I stand amidst the debris, a solitary figure against the fading light, confusion and loss etched across my face. The city groans around me, a wounded beast, its mechanical heart sputtering and failing. And through it all, the echoes of screams linger, a haunting reminder of the day the machines fell… and left me behind.
